I've had many stories sent to me over the years regarding The Dash poem.  Some have been very powerful and have touched my heart deeply, such as this one.  American Idol Winner, David Cook, has a new tattoo on his arm.  It is the entire last stanza of my poem, "The Dash" and I thank his devoted fans who have contacted me.  

The Dash was read at his brother, Adam's funeral.  After battling cancer for more than a decade, Adam died of brain cancer last year.

David, I'm proud to know my words have comforted you and I'm honored they will now go with you wherever you go!  LIVE YOUR DASH!
